The above petition has been filed seeking special leave to file the appeal, challenging the judgment of acquittal made in C.C.No.167 of 2022 dated 04.06.2024 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court, Karaikudi.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner filed a private complaint under Section 200 Cr.P.C. against the respondent for the offence under Section 138 r/w 142 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and after full-trial, the learned Magistrate passed a judgment of acquittal dated 04.06.2024 acquitting the respondent and challenging the same, the present appeal came to be filed along with the above petition to grant special leave.

4. Perused the affidavit filed in support of this petition and also the impugned judgment.

5. Considering the reasons assigned and taking note of the submissions made on either side, leave sought for is granted. Accordingly, this petition is ordered. The Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and list it for admission in the usual course.
