ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by the father of the deceased Driver seeking direction against the Employee's Provident Fund Organisation for disbursement of the death benefit.

2. The son of the writ petitioner was working as Bus Driver in the 2nd respondent school. He passed away in an accident on 14.05.2022. The school, admitting his employment, has forwarded the claim petition to the 1st respondent herein on 23.06.2023. Thereafter, the proposal has been returned by the 1st respondent herein seeking for clarifications by their communication, dated 14.08.2023. It seems that the 2nd respondent school has not resubmitted the said application.

3. In view of the above said facts, the 2nd respondent school is directed to resubmit the claim Form to the 1st respondent with all particulars within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such receipt, the 1st respondent is directed to process the said application in accordance with law within a period of four (4) weeks thereafter.

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
