ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 447, 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) of IPC and Section 4 of TNPHW Act, in Crime No.209 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that due to previous family dispute, the petitioner has abused the de-facto complainant in filthy language and attacked the de-facto complainant and criminally intimidated her. Hence, the case. 3.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police, 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that as against the petitioner, three previous cases are pending and that, he has seriously opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner on the ground that the investigation is still pending.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the cases and taking note of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the petitioner has three previous cases and the nature of offences alleged to have been committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, this petition is dismissed.
