ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A1, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 21(d)(e)(f) of Tamil Nadu Forest Act, 1882 and Sections 56(B), 56(C) and 56(D) of Tamil Nadu Forest Amendment Act, 1979, in W.L.O.R.No.2 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the accused persons were found to be indulged in illegal transportation of ebony wood through their vehicle Bolero Pickup XL. Hence, the case.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has seriously opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner on the ground that the investigation is still pending. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the cases and taking note of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and the nature of 2/3
