Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner wants this Court to direct the respondents to remove the prosopis juliflora from the petition mentioned channel.

3. We are clearly of the view that these are not matters which water body bench should not entertain. It is for the villagers to take appropriate steps on their own. Let them persuade the elected representatives. The Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
