ORDER

Alleging wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD).No.4672 of 2011 dated 21.12.2020, this Contempt Petition is filed.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner is entitled to Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Laksh only) as Ex-gratia amount and the same was paid on 21.12.2020. As well as PL encashment amount to the tune of 2/5

Rs.1,73,248/- (Rupees One Lakh Seventy Three Thousand and Two Hundred and Forty Eight only) was also paid on 30.12.2020.

3. However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the calculation arrived at by the respondents is not correct.

4. This issue cannot be gone into in the contempt proceedings. Hence, this Court is inclined to close the Contempt Petition. The petitioner is directed to submit calculation sheet along with the representation and the respondents are directed to consider the representation along with the calculation sheet and thereafter, pass speaking order. If the respondents come to the conclusion that the calculation is incorrect, the same may be rectified.

5. Hence, this Contempt Petition is closed.
