Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. It is not in dispute that the petitioner was employed in the respondent Corporation. It appears that he was unauthorisedly absent for a very long time. The petitioner reached the age of superannuation on 31.08.2016. 1/3

3. All that the petitioner wants to know as to how he was treated and dealt with by the respondent management. Whether he was retired from service or whether he was dismissed from service are not really known. The respondent is directed to serve on the petitioner the relevant proceedings as to how he was dealt with on his reaching the age of superannuation. The proceedings shall be served on the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
