Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to pass final orders on the proposal to lease the property of the Sheransha Khadiri @ Gunduthaikal Waqf, subject matter of the enquiry initiated vide notice in Na.Ka.No.6825/94/A7/Nagai dated 11.01.2024, within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus directing the first respondent to pass final orders on the proposal to lease the property of the Sheransha Khadiri @ Gunduthaikal Waqf, which is the subject matter of the enquiry initiated vide notice in Na.Ka.No.6825/94/A7/Nagai dated 11.01.2024.
2. It is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents that the enquiry is in progress regarding the grant of approval for lease of the property of the petition mentioned Wakf.
3. The limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is to ensure that the enquiry is completed and final orders are passed within a stipulated period.
4. It is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents that enquiry would be completed and final orders would be passed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, which was accepted by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
5. In view of the same and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the first respondent herein to conclude the 2/4
enquiry and pass final orders in accordance with law within a period of eight
(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and any other interested parties/stake holders.
6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
