O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 04.04.2022, by conducting proper enquiry within a stipulated time fixed by this Court, seeking deletion of the 4th respondent's name in Patta No.2890, consequently include the name of the petitioner and other co-sharers in the said patta.

2. By consent of both parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he has given a representation dated 04.04.2022, to the second respondent stating that the fourth 2/5

respondent had obtained forged patta in respect of the petitioner's property. Thereafter, the second respondent has sent a communication to the third respondent on 28.04.2022, directing him to conduct proper enquiry and send a report. After receiving the communication, the third respondent has not conducted any enquiry. Hence, the petitioner has sent another representation to the second respondent on 11.10.2022. Since there is no response from the second respondent, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

4. Heard Mr.S.Gokul Raj, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms.K.Christy Theboral, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

Considering the above facts, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.04.2022 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, within a period of 3/5

eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
