This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner, wherein the petitioner has sought for transferring him from Trichy Central Prison, to the Puzhal Central Prison, Chennai.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. Considering the limited relief sought for in the writ petition and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the 2/4

second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 05.11.2022 on its own merits and in accordance with law and take a decision within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
