ORDER

Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner seeks direction to the respondents to survey the petition mentioned land.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader opposes the request on the ground that the petitioner is not having any patta in his favour and that the land is a sarkar poramboke.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner draws my attention to the classification of Survey No.448/40 in the revenue record. It is seen that it has been classified as "Natham". The petitioner states that he is grounding his claim on the strength of a sale deed.

5. In these circumstances, I permit the petitioner to apply to the District Revenue Officer, Kadaladi or any other competent authority for obtaining natham patta.

Officer is satisfied that the petitioner has made out a case for issuance of patta, during the said process itself survey shall also be done. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of ten weeks thereafter.

6. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
