JUDGMENT

The Criminal Appeal is directed against the order passed in C.C.No.33 of 2014, dated 05.12.2016, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Fast Track Court, Srivilliputtur.

2. This matter is listed today under the caption 'for dismissal'.

3. It is evident from the records that since there was no representation for the appellant for several hearings, this Court directed the Registry to take necessary steps to appoint legal aid counsel for the appellant. Accordingly, Mr.P.Bhaskar, learned counsel was appointed as legal aid counsel.

4. The learned legal aid counsel appearing for the appellant would submit that the appellant is not interested in prosecuting the appeal and also filed a memo, dated 18.11.2025 to the said effect and the said memo was recorded on 19.11.2025.

5.Considering the above and also taking note of the fact that the appellant is not interested in prosecuting the appeal, this Court has no other option but to dismiss the appeal. Accordingly, the Criminal Appeal is dismissed for non-prosecution.
