ORDER

Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner applied for issuance of passport. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate informed the Court that three cases have been registered against the petitioner. FIR in Crime No.410 of 2020 has already been charge sheeted. It is seen that the cases have been registered under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. I am therefore not inclined to grant relief.

3. The jurisdictional criminal Court is directed to take the charge sheet on file without any delay. Compliance report shall be submitted before the Registry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt 2/4

of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the petitioner can move the trial Court and obtain relief.

4. With this direction to the jurisdictional criminal Court and liberty to the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
