PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, or any other appropriate Writ or Order or Direction in the nature of Writ directing the Respondents to remove the petitioner name in the record of the History Sheet in HS No.215/2008 maintained by the 3rd Respondent Police in the light of the Tamil Nadu Police Standing Orders by considering my representation dated 20.06.2023.

O R D E R

The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to remove the Petitioner's name from the History Sheet maintained in the 3rd Respondent Police Station,by considering the Petitioner's representation dated 20.06.2023. 2.The petitioner has sent a representation to the respondents to remove his name from the History Sheet on 20.06.2023. Since the same was not considered till date, he has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to consider the same by the respondents. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the history sheet was opened in respect of the petitioner in the year 2008. Till now on the basis of the above said history sheet, the petitioner was harassed by the respondent police.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the representation made by the petitioner will be taken for consideration 2/4

in the meeting scheduled to be held in the month of June. 4.In view of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this writ petition stands disposed of on the above terms. No costs.
