Late Sri M.Muthiah Servai, based on the petitioner's representations, dated 10.06.2020, 08.02.2021 and 14.05.2022, within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 to sanction the pension arrears from 01.03.2009 to 31.05.2019 to the petitioner, based on the petitioner's representations, dated 10.06.2020, 08.02.2021 and 14.05.2022.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.D.Gandhiraj, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the fifth respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation has been considered and a recommendation has been made by the Special Tahsildar, Karaikudi to the District Collector, Sivagangai District in Na.Ka.No.1/1490/2021, 3/7
dated /11/2022, signed on 04.11.2022 and the same has to be considered by the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the fifth respondent.
4. Considering the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Court directs the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the recommendation made by the Special Tahsildar, Karaikudi, dated 04.11.2022 and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
