JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by M.S.RAMESH, J.) Challenging is made to the order of the writ Court dated 12.10.2023 in WP(MD) No.10863/2023.

The rejection of the approval of appointment on the ground that the concerned Teacher was not qualified in TET has been considered by this Court in several of its orders and set aside such orders of rejection holding it as impermissible. Likewise, when the educational authorities had released the grant of salary alone and have withheld the other increments, a Coordinate Bench of this Court in the case of the District Educational Officer and another v. Anthonysamy and another, in WA(MD) No.1228/2022 dated 23.08.2024, had refused to interfere with the order passed in the writ petition and had directed the authorities to grant appropriate increments and allowances.

3. In the light of such a decision, the order of the learned Single Judge does not require interference. Accordingly, the writ appeal stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
