This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the first respondent to fix higher wages to the petitioner who is working as Sanitary worker in Government higher Secondary School, Kommadikottai, based on the petitioner's application dated 16.06.2023, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner seeks for higher wages through the aforesaid application dated 16.06.2023. Since the same has not been considered, she has filed this Writ Petition. Till date, counter has not been filed by the respondents.

3.No prejudice will be caused to the respondents if a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider the aforesaid representation of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2/5

4.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has also not raised any serious objection if such a direction is issued by this Court.

5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation. Accordingly, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2023, seeking for fixation of higher wages in her favour, within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
