This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 189 days in preferring the appeal as against the judgment dated 06.10.2023 passed in MCOP.No.13 of 2020 on the file of the MACT Cum Special Judge, Tiruchirappalli.

2.Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3.Considering the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition is allowed and delay is condoned. It is made clear that no interest shall be claimed for the delay period of 189 days.

4.Registry is directed to number the petition if it is otherwise in order and post the same along with CMA(MD) No.
