Whereas upon Motion this day made unto this Court by MR.N.PRAGALATHAN, Advocate for the petitioner, praying that this Honourable Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the entire records connected with the Detention order passed in P.D.No.43/2019 dated 07.11.2019 on the file of the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu or body of the detenu namely SELVAM @ SELVAMURUGAN @ THOOTHUKUDI SELVAM, AGED 32, SON OF RAMAKRISHNAN, now detained at Central Prison, Palayamkottai, before this Honourable Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

Whereas this Court hath directed issue of notice, returnable by Thursday, the Second day of January Two Thousand and Twenty (02/01/2020) to the respondents 1 to 3 herein to show cause why this petition should not be complied with:
