J U D G M E N T

(Order of the Court was made by V.BHAVANI SUBBAROYAN, J. The respondent/writ petitioner filed writ petition for a direction to the appellants/respondents in WP to disburse a sum of Rs.61,679/- along with interest to the writ petitioner towards the medical reimbursement.

The Writ Court by order dated 27.02.2017, disposed of the writ petition with a direction to the appellants to pay the medical expenses incurred by the writ petitioner as per the eligibility criteria along with interest @ 9% per annum without standing on technicalities within a period of two months.

Aggrieved by the said order, the Education Department has filed this appeal.

Today, when the writ appeal was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the appellants, on instructions, submitted that the order passed by the Writ Court dated 27.02.2017 in W.P(MD)No.2020 of 2016 is complied with and the respondent/writ petitioner has been paid with medical expenses, as such, nothing survives in this appeal for adjudication. 5.

The counsel for the respondent has not disputed the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader 6.

In view of the compliance of the impugned order, nothing survives in this appeal for adjudication Accordingly, the Writ Appeal is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
