This Contempt Petition has been filed seeking orders to punish the contemnor/1st respondent for his willful and deliberate disobedience of the order of this Court passed in W.P(MD)No.22755 of 2017, dated 29.04.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today (i.e., 24.01.2025), the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the order of this Court, dated 29.04.2024 in W.P(MD)No.22755 of 2017 has been complied with and the learned learned Additional Government Pleader has produced the copy of the proceedings of District Collector, Trichy, dated 03.01.2025 and that therefore, the petition may be closed.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel on either side, the Contempt Petition is closed.
