This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take appropriate action to measure/survey the petitioner's property in Survey Nos.309/1A, 309/1B and 309/2B of Thogaimalai Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District.

2. Heard Mr.A.Haja Mohideen, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Gandhiraj, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he is the owner of the property in Survey Nos.309/1A, 309/1B and 309/2B situated at Thogaimalai Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District, by virtue of sale deed, dated 09.10.1978. He has applied with the respondents 2 and 3 for survey of the land, on 02.09.2020 and also paid necessary fees. Since there is no 2/5

progress, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's application dated 02.09.2020, will be considered within a period of twelve weeks.

5. Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Court directs the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's application dated 02.09.2020 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
