ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed, invoking Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking orders, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 herein to conduct enquiry and take appropriate action against the fifth respondent on the basis of the representation, dated 27.02.2024 within a time as fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner and one Pothumponnu, two FIRs came to be registered in Crime Nos.244 and 245 of 2024 and after investigation, charge sheet came to be filed with regard to Crime No.245 of 2024 and one accused was deleted and the learned 2/4

Magistrate has issued summons to the defacto complainant and the case was taken on file in C.C.No.15 of 2024 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Aundipatti.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that they have raised serious allegations against the fifth respondent, who had demanded bribe and that they have given complaint; that he has not taken action in pursuance of the complaint given by the petitioner and subsequently, after registering the first FIR, they have registered the second FIR.

4. Considering the nature of allegations levelled, the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and take a decision within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
