ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A1, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 132 and 303(2) of BNS and Section 21(1) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 in Crime

No.404 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused had illegally transported two units of river sand. 3.Heard. Perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

4.Considering the nature of allegations against the petitioner that the petitioner is the owner of the JCB vehicle and by using machinery, it was attempted to quarry sand through Vaigai river and considering the fact that the petitioner has got seven previous cases, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
