ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to the III Additional District Court, Trichy, to dispose of I.A.No.2 of 2019 in O.S.No.65 of 2019 within a stipulated period.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that 2/5

the petitioner herein is the second defendant in O.S.No.65 of 2019. He filed an interlocutory application in I.A.No.2 of 2019 in O.S.No.65 of 2019 under Order 7 Rule 11 C.P.C. to reject the plaint and the same is kept pending for the past three years, by periodically adjourning the matter without assigning any reason. Therefore, he requests this Court to direct the trial Court for early disposal of I.A.No.2 of 2019.

3. Heard the learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for respondents 3 to 5.

4. In view of the nature of order to be passed in this case, notice to other respondents is dispensed with.

5. Considering the fact that the interlocutory application in I.A.No.2 of 2019 is pending for the past three years, this Court directs the III Additional District Court, Trichy, to dispose of I.A.No.2 of 2019, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy 3/5

of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
