since it is belated payment to the petitioner and also the revised pension arrears amount of belated payment is eligible at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of retirement to till the date of payment payable for the said monetary terminal benefits within a stipulated time frame as fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed by the wife of the deceased employee of the respondent Transport Corporation, seeking a Mandamus for disbursement of benefits arising out of 14th Wage Settlement, dated 24.08.2022.

2. Seeking the said benefits, the petitioner has sent a representation on 03.10.2024. Since there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. 2/4

Considering the above said facts, the respondents herein are directed to confer the eligible benefits upon the writ petitioner along with interest at the rate of 6% p.a., from the due date till the date of disbursement, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
