O R D E R This petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report dated 11.11.2022 in Crime No.265 of 2022 on the file of the Watrap Police Station, Virudhuangar District 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the accused in Crime No.265 of 2022, which was registered for the offence punishable under Section 406 IPC. The grievance of the petitioner is that the present complaint has been filed by her own mother in order to harass the petitioner, since the petitioner refused to marry the brother of her mother.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent police would submit that the complaint given against the petitioner was closed as 'action dropped' and with this, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous.

4.In view of the above submission, nothing remains to be considered in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
