The petitioner was convicted and sentenced by the learned Judicial Magistrate/Fast Track Court, Karaikudi. Questioning the same, she filed C.A.No.79 of 2019, before the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Sivagangai District. The learned Appellate Judge while imposing the condition to deposit 20 percent of the cheque amount, granted only 30 days time. The petitioner's counsel states that the petitioner being a lady and home maker needs some more time to mobilise the amount in question. Therefore, the time granted by the learned Appellate Judge is extended upto 23.12.2019.
