ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the third respondent to pay the retirement benefits amounting to Rs.4,32,018/- to the petitioner together with reasonable rate of interest within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. A counter affidavit has been filed by the second respondent denying the contentions of the petitioner as raised in this writ petition.
3. Even though a positive direction has been sought for in this writ petition, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would now submit that the petitioner is satisfied, if his representation seeking for the relief as sought for in this writ petition is considered by the respondents, on merits and in accordance with law.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has also not raised any serious objection, if such a direction is issued by this Court.
5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the third respondent for settlement of his retirement benefits amounting to Rs.4,32,018/- within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said representation, the third respondent shall pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks thereafter.
6. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
