ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders, to direct the first respondent to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that the first respondent has not received any complaint from the petitioner till now.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that he has sent a complaint through registered post on 29.08.2024. 4.Whatever it is, the petitioner is directed to give fresh representation to the first respondent and on receipt of the same, the first respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner as well as the private respondent and conduct enquiry and take a decision within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
