ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition is filed to set aside the order passed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge in Cr.M.P.No.2822 of 2024 dated 21.06.2024 and extend the time to surrender and producing sureties 1/4

before the Judicial Magistrate-VI, Madurai, in Crime No.169 of 2024 in Cr.M.P.(MD)No.2260 of 2024 dated 30.04.2024.

2. Heard both sides.

3. Considering the anticipatory bail being granted by the order dated 30.04.2024, and considering the fact that the petitioners think that by one way or the other, they can dilly-dally the proceedings and not even surrender before the concerned Court and execute the surety and only on account of the pleading made by the learned counsel the petitioner, this Court is inclined to extend the time by setting aside the order of the trial court, but however, on condition.

4. The order of the trial Court dated 21.06.2024, in Cr.M.P.No. 2822 of 2024 shall stand set aside. The time is extended for the petitioner to comply with the original order in Cr.M.P.(MD)No.2260 of 2024, dated 30.04.2024, by a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on condition that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.20,000/- to the credit of IOB-District Court Madurai Branch, IFSC :IOBA0001867, Name : Madurai Advocate Clerk Association, SB-Saving Account No.18670100000192.

4. With the aforesaid liberty, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
