2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

Considering the nature of allegations that the petitioner is said to have committed penetrative sexual assault on the victim child aged about 9 years, it is not a fit case for grant of bail to the petitioner. Because the petition for bail is being rejected, the prosecution shall ensure that the trial shall be conducted as expeditiously as possible and the Investigating Officer shall also produce the witness on the relevant dates and the copy of this order shall also be placed before the trial court and the trial court shall also dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible.
