O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner praying this Court to punish the respondent for wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P(MD)No.10848 of 2022, dated 06.06.2022.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner filed a writ petition for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's appeal, dated 16.03.2022, as against the orders passed by the Commissioner of Town Panchayat, Chennai on 08.02.2022. This Court vide order, dated 06.06.2022, issued a direction to the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

3. Alleging wilful disobedience of the said order, the present contempt petition is filed.

4. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that pursuant to the order passed by this Court, an order was passed, vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No. 1809/2018/a6, dated 08.02.2022.

5. In view of the same, there is no wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court as alleged by the petitioner. Hence, this contempt petition stands closed.
