ORDER

By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. The writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.10.2024 and issue the petitioner the death certificate of his paternal uncle Periyamanthari, S/o.Aandi within a time stipulated by this Court.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's paternal uncle died on 16.07.1966. Since the death has not been registered at that point of time, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondents for issuance of death certificate. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

4. I have considered the rival submissions and perused the materials available on record.

5. Without going into the merits or the contentions raised by both sides, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.10.2024 on its own merits and pass orders within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
