The instant Writ Petition has been filed by a retired Senior Tradesman Level-5, who was working under the respondent Transport Corporation and attained superannuation on 30.04.2017, seeking mandamus for settlement of monetary benefits based on the 13th wage settlement dated 04.01.2018.
2. Seeking the said relief, the petitioner has given a representation on 24.08.2024. Since there is no response, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.
3. Considering the above said facts, the respondent herein is directed to release the eligible amount to the Writ Petitioner with 6% interest per annum from the due date till the date of disbursement within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
4. This Writ Petition stands disposed of, with above directions. No costs.
