This contempt petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order, dated 10.12.2019, made in W.P.(MD) No.13 of 2014.

2. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, on instructions, made a submission that part amount has already been settled in favour of the petitioners. The Management of Mahatma Gandhi Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases Hospital, Sengipatti, Thanjavur District, is facing financial crisis and therefore, there is a delay in settling the remaining monetary benefits in favour of the petitioners. However, the amount due to the petitioners will be settled within a period of four weeks from today.

3. Recording the above submission of the learned Government Advocate, the contempt petition is closed. However, in the event of failure on the part of the respondent in settling the remaining monetary benefits, the petitioners are at liberty to reopen this contempt petition by filing appropriate petition.
