PRAYER :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus restraining the respondents 1 to 3 from granting license to setup the cracker shops in Mylaudy Junction Mylaudy Kanyakumari District based on the petitioner's representation dated 10.10.2024 and this communication of the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.A3/4855/2024 dated 30.09.2024. ORDER

By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. The writ petition has been filed for a mandamus restraining the respondents 1 to 3 from granting license to setup the cracker shops in Mylaudy Junction Mylaudy Kanyakumari District based on the petitioner's representation dated 10.10.2024 and this communication of the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.A3/4855/2024 dated 30.09.2024.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondents 1 to 3 not to grant any license to the 2/5

respondents 4 and 5 to set up cracker shop in Mylaudy junction. Based on the representation of the petitioner, the 2nd respondent has sent a communication dated 30.09.2024 thereby not recommending the case of the respondents 4 and 5. However, since the said representation has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

4. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader, would submit that the application of the respondents 4 and 5 have been rejected.

4. Recording the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
