ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed, invoking Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking orders, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action against the fourth respondent to remove the lock and provide police protection to the petitioner to conduct festival scheduled on 01.11.2024 in respect of Arulmigu Sree Muniasamy Thirukovil, Kandhankudiyiruppu, Tiruchendur Taluk within time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, CSR.No.529 of 2024 came to be registered and after enquiry, the same was ordered to be closed and that thereafter, they have not received any complaint from the petitioner.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has sent the complaint, dated 14.10.2024 to the DIG, Tirunelveli.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel on either side, the petitioner is directed to give fresh representation to the second respondent and on receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner as well as the private respondents and conduct enquiry and take a decision within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
