ORDER

Aggrieved by the fact that his application to remove the name of one Ramasamy Kanda Pillai from the joint patta has been kept pending from the year 2022, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. Considering the limited request of the petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed of issuing a mandamus to the respondent to consider the petitioner's case and pass orders on merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
