Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to issue separate patta by surveying the lands with police protection and demarcating the boundaries situated in Punja S.No. 175/1A1 to an extent of 2 Acres 7.5 Cents and Punja S.No.176/3A to an extent of 2 Acres 47 cents of Keelakalangal Village, V.K.Pudur Taluk, Tenkasi District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 14.08.2024.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the following relief: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is humbly prayed that this Hon'ble court may be pleased to issue an order or direction more particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to issue separate patta by surveying the lands with police protection and demarcating the boundaries situated in Punja S.No. 175/1A1 to an extent of 2 Acres 7.5 Cents and Punja
S.No.176/3A to an extent of 2 Acres 47 cents of Keelakalangal Village, V.K.Pudur Taluk, Tenkasi District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 14.08.2024 and pass such further or other orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice."

The petitioner had submitted an application to the second respondent for issue of separate patta after surveying and demarcating boundaries of Punja S.No.175/1A1 to an extent of 2 Acres 7.5 Cents and Punja S.No.176/3A to an extent of 2 Acres 47 cents of Keelakalangal Village, V.K.Pudur Taluk, Tenkasi District on the basis of her representation dated 14.08.2024. Since no action has been taken on the same, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Heard the learned counsel on either side.
4. Considering the fact that no notice of survey as to date has been issued, a mandamus is issued to the second respondent to consider the
petitioner's representation dated 14.08.2024 and survey and issue patta within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
