PRAYER in W.P.(MD) No.25692 of 2025: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to settle the terminal benefits such as arrears of wages Rs.5,39,251/- and un-availed leave salary of Rs.5,60,000/- as per the letter of the 5th respondent dated 12.04.2015 along with belated payment interest at the rate of 18% per annum from the date of retirement on 31.05.2014 till the date of settlement and also settle interest on the belated payment of Provident Fund and Gratuity from 3/6
the date of retirement on 31.05.2014 till the date of settlement on 13.09.2022. 2.W.P.(MD) No.25692 of 2025 has been filed to direct the respondents to settle the terminal benefits, such as arrears of wages Rs.5,39,251/- and un-availed leave salary of Rs.5,60,000/- as per the letter of the fifth respondent, dated 12.04.2015, along with belated payment interest at the rate of 18% per annum from the date of retirement ie., on 31.05.2014 to till the date of settlement and also settle interest on the belated payment of Provident Fund and Gratuity. 4/6
3.Considering the fact that the petitioner superannuated from service as early as on 31.05.2014 and his terminal benefits including arrears of wages, unavailed leave salary etc., have not still been paid, there shall be a direction to the fifth respondent to disburse the same together with interest at the rate of 12% per annum within in a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.With the aforesaid direction, these Writ Petitions stand disposed of. No costs.
