O RDER This petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.1829 of 2020, dated 03.08.2020 on the file of the respondent police. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he is the accused in FIR in Crime No.1829 of 2020 dated 03.08.2020, which was registered on the file of the first respondent for the offences punishable under Sections 143, 283, 290, 269 and 270 of IPC, for violation of COVID - 19 protocols during the pandemic period.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that since Tamil Nadu Government has dropped all the cases registered in respect of violation of Covid-19 protocols, the FIR registered against the petitioner was also closed as further action dropped.
4.In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, nothing survives for further consideration in this petition. 2/4
5.Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
