O R D E R
This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Mandamus as against the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.08.2023 and award compensation within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.
2. According to the petitioner, during the surgery, due to the error of the Doctor, there was a uterine perforation and thereafter, she was admitted in the hospital in a serious condition and she was subsequently discharged. However, she was unable to do regular work. Hence, the petitioner made a representation on 30.08.2023, seeking to take necessary action and compensation. Since no action was taken on the said representation, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition. 2/4
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law.
4. In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 30.08.2023, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
