ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Jeep Driver challenging an order of transfer wherein he has been transferred from the Office of the Block Development Officer, Ramanathapuram to the Office of Panchayat Union Chairman.

2. The petitioner has been transferred from one office to the other office in the same town. This Court finds no reason to interfere in the order of transfer. However, the learned counsel for the writ petitioner submits that the Panchayat Union Chairman is his close relative and there is a personal enmity as against him and he apprehends some discomfort for working under the Panchayat Union Chairman.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents submits that the Block Development Officer, who has passed the order, namely Ramesh Kumar has already been transferred 2/4

and new officer has taken charge. The petitioner is at liberty to give representation to the present Block Development Officer to accommodate him in some other position. It is for the present Block Development Officer to take a call on the representation made by the writ petitioner.

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
