ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 09.10.2019, which was given to promote him as Executive (Engineer), within a period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.Mr.E.Marees Kumar, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.According to the petitioner, he joined as Casual Labour in the 2nd respondent Union on 21.03.1981, and his service has been regularised as Senior Mazdoor with effect from 27.12.1993. Subsequently, he was promoted as Technician on 12.01.2013. In consequence to the order dated 31.08.2017, passed by the Commissioner of Tamil Nadu Co-operative Milk Producers Federation Limited, a circular was issued by the 2nd respondent on 07.06.2019, for submitting applications for the post of Executive (Engineer). The petitioner and others have submitted their applications for the said post.

Though the petitioner attended interview conducted by the 2nd respondent along with other candidates, except the petitioner, nine others including juniors to the petitioner, were given promotion and now, they are working as Executives. Hence, the petitioner has given a representation on 09.10.2019, with a request https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.

W.P.(MD)No.25318 of 2019 to consider his representation for the promotion as Executive (Engineer). But, so far no action has been taken by the respondent. Hence, the petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition. 4.Considering the nature of relief sought for in the Writ Petition, this Court without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.10.2019, on merits and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
