ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY,J.] The petitioner has filed the above writ petition as a Public Interest Litigation to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to lay thar road completely for an extent of 800 meters from Silukuvarpatti to Old Silukkuvarpatti Public road under the Scheme of Components as Pooled Assigned Revenue (SCPAR), based on the contract work order given to the fifth respondent by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.07.2019 within a time frame.

2. When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that instead of going to the other aspects, it would be suffice, if a direction is given to the third respondent to consider the representation dated 11.07.2019 in accordance with law.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the petitioner's representation would be considered within a period of four weeks.

4. The learned Counsel appearing for the sixth respondent also submitted that the sixth respondent has no objection for giving such a direction to the third respondent.

5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned Counsel appearing on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, we direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.07.2019 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
