PRAYER : Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent University herein to consider and pass orders forthwith on the representation dated 30.10.2019 submitted by the petitioner to the respondent University, in the light of the Common order dated 02.07.2019 passed by this Court in W.P(MD).No.19217 of 2018 etc., batch.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent University herein to consider and pass orders forthwith on the representation dated 30.10.2019 submitted by the petitioner to the respondent University, in the light of the Common order dated 02.07.2019 passed by this Court in W.P(MD).No.19217 of 2018 etc., batch.

2.Heard Mr.T.Cibi Chakraborthy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.E.Mareeskumar, learned counsel appearing for the respondent. By consent of parties, this Writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.According to the petitioner, she was initially appointed as Skilled NMR in one of the Constituent Colleges of the respondent at Nagampatti on 04.04.2007. Thereafter, the petitioner was posted to University College at Nagampatti, Tirunelveli District. All of a sudden, the respondent dislodged the petitioner from service, vide proceedings in Memo.No.MSU/R/Estt/Admn/NMR/05/2018, dated 28.08.2018, stating that her service is no longer required. Hence, the petitioner filed W.P(MD).No.19217 of 2018 and this Court, directed the respondent University to review the orders under challenge by considering the plight of the employees namely, the petitioner along with supportive documents and also directed the respondent University to consider the same and pass appropriate https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.25125 of 2019 orders on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, the petitioner made a detailed representation dated 30.10.2019 to the respondent University. But the same was rejected by the respondent University. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present Writ petition.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 30.10.2019 will be considered on merits.

5.Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the respondent, without deciding the issue on merits, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.10.2019 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
