Respondents PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give police protection for the petitioner, his family members life and limb and the petitioner's property comprised in Survey No.1684/29 to an extent of 3 cents situated at Koomapatti, Virudhunagar District based on the petitioner's representation, dated 28.06.2019 and 04.11.2019 within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give the police protection for the petitioner and his family members, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 28.06.2019 and 04.11.2019.

2. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) would submit that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, dated 04.11.2019 enquiry was conducted by the second respondent and after conducting enquiry with the respondents 4 to 8 closed the same as 'civil in nature'.

3. It is seen from the records, there is a dispute between the petitioner and the respondents 4 to 8 in respect of property comprised in Survey No.1684/29 to an extent of 3 cents situated at https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD).No.17741 of 2019 Koomapatti, Virudhunagar District. Therefore, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be considered. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh complaint on a fresh cause of action.
