ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to grant patta to the petitioner in Survey No.397/1B1 to an extent of 15 Cents in Keelaveeranam Village, VK Puthur Taluk, Tenkasi District based on the petitioner's representation, dated 07.10.2022.

2.I have heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 2/5

3.The petitioner is claiming title in respect of the subject lands and sought for issuance of patta. A representation was given in this regard on 07.10.2022 to the respondents 1 to 3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the respondents have not acted upon the said representation of the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has been constrained to move this Court by way of filing this writ petition. 4.When the writ petition was posted for admission, this Court directed notice to the respondents 4 to 8 on 18.11.2022. It is seen that the private notice served on the respondents 4 to 8, but none appears today, on their behalf.

5.Considering that the prayer in the writ petition is only to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 07.10.2022, it would be suffice to direct the 2nd respondent and 3rd respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 07.10.2022, after affording an opportunity to the respondents 4 to 8 as well as the petitioner to put forth their respective contentions, along with any documents that may be relied on by the respective parties. The respondents 2 and 3 shall conclude the 3/5

proceedings and pass final orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 07.10.2022 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, on own merits and in accordance with law. 6.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
