The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was already conferred with the powers of the Controller of Examination and such powers were taken away by the second respondent/Principal.

2.This Court is of the considered opinion that the power can never be claimed as a right by the employee. The powers including duties and responsibilities are to be assigned either under the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.25134 of 2019 rules or by the competent authority under the rules. Therefore, if any grievance exists, it is left open to the petitioner to approach the competent authority for redressal. However, the High Court cannot be interfered with such administrative affairs of the respondents.

3.Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
